Joining up as a registered customer costs only £3. On your first visit, you also need to show three ID documents with your name AND address. There is a £2 charge each time you use our Shopmobility service.

If you wish to borrow a wheelchair or scooter for the morning or afternoon, we will show you how to use it and you can practise away from the crowds.

Book by phone, fax or just pop in to see us. Usually the day before is soon enough to book a scooter or wheelchair. However, arranging a volunteer helper needs more notice.

For local elderly and disabled people who find it difficult to arrange their own transport, Shopmobility runs regular door-to-door shopping trips to Walthamstow.
