Pre-Olympic Volunteering Programme
The Pre-Olympic Volunteering Programme (PVP) is a great opportunity to train as a volunteer. PVP training deals with topics such as customer care, first aid and fire awareness and includes a short voluntary placement. Everyone completing the PVP pilot scheme will be guarenteed an interview to volunteer at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Class are providing PVP training locally and are running two open days on Tuesday 3 April and Tuesday 10 April from 1pm-3pm at:

To be eligible for PVP training, you must be unemployed and living in Waltham Forest and, ideally, not have a qualification above Level 1. Class is especially interested in hearing from:
- single parents
- people with disabilities
- young people over 16 who are not in education, employment or training
- people who are over 50 and unemployed.
Some assistance with childcare is available during the programme for single parents.
The training will finish with an awards ceremoney at a prestigious London venue.
