Outcomes training
How much do you know about the effects of your organisation’s work?
Are your funders asking about outcomes monitoring?
Would you like to know more about outcomes?
If you answered 'Yes' to any of these questions, you may be interested in a free training course for voluntary and community organisations which we will be running next year.
Our Understanding and using an outcomes focus training course will teach you how to use an outcomes approach in your organisation.
The course will show you how to:
- learn to assess your effectiveness
- find out what works and use this to improve your services
- increase morale for staff and users by showing that beneficial changes are happening
- demonstrate to funders that you are using their money to make a difference.
The two day course starts on 18 February, with the second day on 21 April, and will be held at Age Concern Waltham Forest’s office in Leyton. The gap between the two days provides an opportunity to apply what you have learnt in your workplace, and the course also includes some free one-to-one follow-up support.
The course is part of the National outcomes programme, run by Charities Evaluation Services, and is funded by the Big Lottery Fund. Because of this, participants can attend the course free of charge - it usually costs £250.
Places are limited, so if you would like to attend, please register your interest by contacting Janaki Mahendran, Senior Manager, Services and performance management, on 020 8558 5512 or j.mahendran@ageconcernwf.org.uk.
