How to get to: Peterhouse Community Centre

Peterhouse Community Centre is situated on Forest Rise, Upper Walthamstow, E17, a few yards through a pathway from Woodford New Road, near the Whipps Cross Roundabout and a few yards from the top of Upper Walthamstow Road.

Travel to Peterhouse Community Centre (the easiest connections)

Underground, British Rail and Bus

The nearest underground rail stations are Walthamstow Central Station  (Victoria Line and British Rail) and Wood Street Station (British Rail) – both are within a reasonable distance with bus route connections.

If you are coming from Walthamstow Central Station (either tube or British Rail), you need to catch bus route 20 (towards Debden Broadway) from the Walthamstow Bus Station and alight at the bus stop after the Whipps Cross Roundabout in Woodford New Road.  It is then a short walk through a pathway to the Peterhouse Community Centre (By the side of St. Peters in the Field Church).

If you are travelling from Wood Street British Rail Station, it is a short 10 minute walk up hill on Upper Walthamstow Road.  Alternatively, bus route 230 travels up Upper Walthamstow Road to its terminus at Bisterne Avenue, just round the corner from Peterhouse Community Centre.  (Please confirm this with the Bus Driver)

Car

There is very limited car parking space available at the Peterhouse Community Centre but there is on-street parking in Forest Rise and surrounding streets with no resident parking restrictions at present.
